J.J. Haughey Solicitors Ltd is an established family run practice with a long and successful history of providing a full range of legal services to the local Armagh community and surrounding areas. The practice was established in 1972 and is located in College Street, Armagh.

Paul Haughey qualified as a solicitor in 1999. He is vastly experienced in the representation of clients in Family, Criminal, and Civil Courts. Paul is a qualified Solicitor Advocate and Mediator. He is a member of the Children's Order Panel, Guardian ad Litem Agency panel (appointed to represent children in Court proceedings) and is a member of the International Children's Law Panel (to represent parties to Child Abduction proceedings).

Peter Haughey qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and deals with all aspects of the services provided by the practice with particular interest and specialisation in all matters relating to Conveyancing and Property and in relation to Wills, Probate and the administration and planning of estates.

Leanne Sweeney is our newest member of staff having joined the practice as a solicitor in July 2015. Leanne is a graduate of Queen's University Belfast and was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in 2014 and deals with all areas of practice undertaken by the firm with particular interest and specialisation in Matrimonial Law (including divorce, ancillary relief and both private and public law Children's Order proceedings); Criminal Law and Probate and Administration of Estates. Leanne is a skilled advocate and enjoys the representation of clients in both civil and criminal courts.

Our support staff is headed by Teresa O'Connor, Legal Executive, who has invaluable experience in relation to all matters relating to conveyancing having joined the practice as an assistant to Jerome Haughey, founder of the firm. We are lucky to be assisted by a professional, enthusiastic and friendly team of support staff who will be happy to assist in any way they can.
